Funnels
Ask questions, qualify inquiries and route them to the right outcome: funnels on ridian.page.

A funnel is a short sequence of pages on <name>.ridian.page. It explains your offer, asks questions and, depending on the answers, routes people to the right outcome: a thank-you page, a decline page, an external address or straight into booking an appointment. Anyone who submits contact details or books ends up in Ridian as a lead.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”- Choose a public name. Funnels run under your name. You choose it once for your workspace, under Scheduling > Settings with Choose name. It also applies to event types and subscription calendars. You cannot create a funnel without a name.
- Create a funnel. Under Publish > Funnels, choose New funnel. Pick a template (Qualify inquiries, Routing form, Collect leads or Blank) and the page language.
- Build the content. In the Content tab you add steps and outcomes. Each step consists of blocks.
- Set rules. In the Logic tab you decide which step or outcome follows which answer.
- Add the legal details. Under Settings you need the controller plus links to your privacy notice and imprint.
- Publish. Ridian checks the funnel first. Afterwards it is available at
<name>.ridian.page/<path>.
All workspace members can see funnels. Admins and owners create, change and publish them.
Steps and blocks
Section titled “Steps and blocks”- Content: text, image, video (YouTube or Vimeo) and key figures.
- Questions: choice (one or several answers), free text and number, each optionally required.
- Contact details: only this block creates a lead. We do not store half-filled entries. See Contact details.
Custom HTML and scripts are not available.
Contact details
Section titled “Contact details”A new contact block asks for name and email as required fields and for phone and company as optional fields. You can make any field optional or remove it, and add removed fields back. Add custom field asks for more details as a text field, for example LinkedIn. A block has up to 12 fields.
Without an email field, the editor shows a warning: Ridian then cannot match submissions to a person. Every submission becomes a separate lead, even when the same person submits again, and you cannot reach them by email.
Logic and outcomes
Section titled “Logic and outcomes”Per step, the first matching rule applies. If none matches, Otherwise applies. A rule combines conditions on answers from this or earlier steps, for example “Team size is one of 21–100, 100+”. Jumps only go forward, so there are no loops. Ridian evaluates the rules on the server.
Outcomes:
- Thank-you page with a headline, text and an optional button.
- Decline page with text and an optional link.
- External address (
httpsonly). - Book an appointment: at the end, the time picker of an event type and tier appears. That way, qualified inquiries can get a longer call than others, for example. Submission and lead are created with the booking. Paid appointments and Zoom are coming soon. Event types that are bookable “only via funnel” cannot be booked through their direct link.
Publishing and versions
Section titled “Publishing and versions”You always work on a draft. Only Publish makes it live, as a new version. The live version stays online until you publish again. The editor shows unpublished changes, and Discard changes resets the draft to the live version.
Before publishing, Ridian checks among other things:
- that every step is reachable,
- that every outcome is valid, for example an active event type,
- that the path to the thank-you page asks for contact details,
- that a privacy notice and imprint are linked.
How many funnels can be live at once depends on your plan. The heading of the funnel list shows how many are live right now. You can see your plan’s limits under Billing.
Take offline and Duplicate are in the editor’s more actions. Deleting makes the page unreachable. Leads from the funnel are kept.
Address and custom domain
Section titled “Address and custom domain”- Address:
<name>.ridian.page/<path>. Funnels, event types and subscription calendars under your name share the same paths. If you change the path, the old one redirects for 90 days. - Custom domain (Professional and up): under Funnels > Settings > Custom domain you connect a subdomain such as
book.your-company.com. To do so, add a CNAME record at your domain provider. All of the workspace’s funnels then also run atbook.your-company.com/<path>. The domain becomes active once we have issued the certificate. A root domain without a subdomain is not possible, and each workspace has one custom domain. Admins and owners can connect and disconnect it.
Design
Section titled “Design”Accent color, font, light, dark or automatic, and a logo. With automatic, the page follows the visitor’s system setting, and visitors can switch between light and dark at the bottom of the page. You can hide “Made with Ridian” from Professional. By default, funnels are not indexed by search engines; you can turn this on per funnel.
Privacy and security
Section titled “Privacy and security”- You are responsible for the data your funnel asks for. The funnel names you and links your privacy notice.
- Funnel pages load no tracking or advertising tools and set no cookies for statistics. We count views per step without any visitor identifier.
- Videos load only after a click (YouTube without cookies, Vimeo with “Do Not Track”).
- Before contact details are submitted and before a booking, a short bot check runs. If it takes unusually long, the page offers Check again.
- The footer of every page has Report page. Our support reviews reports. A blocked funnel shows a neutral page; only we can unblock it.
New lead notifications
Section titled “New lead notifications”Who gets alerted is set per funnel: in the editor under Settings > Notification for new leads with Change, up to 20 members. By default it is the person who created the funnel. If no one is chosen, the funnel alerts no one.
How you get alerted is your own choice: under Funnels > Settings > Notifications by email and/or WhatsApp. Your choice applies only to you and only in this workspace. WhatsApp works only with a linked number. By ticking the box you agree that Ridian messages you about it.
The message names the person, funnel and outcome and links the lead. It contains no answers. If a funnel ends with a booking, you get the booking notification instead of the lead notification.
Numbers
Section titled “Numbers”The funnel list shows each funnel’s leads in the last 30 days. In the editor, the Content tab shows per step how often it was viewed in the live version in the last 30 days. Reloads count, so this is not a completion rate.
More pages
Section titled “More pages”- Leads: what happens with submissions and bookings.
- Scheduling: event types and tiers as an outcome.
