## Behavior and boundaries

Updates only the supplied fields of an event returned with canEdit=true. V1 is intentionally limited to organizer-owned standalone events without guests or conference data, so it cannot send meeting updates. To change time, supply start, end, and timeZone together.

## Permissions

Granted scopes, accounts, calendars and visibility rules limit access. Workspace administrators do not automatically gain access to other users’ accounts.
