## Behavior and boundaries

Moves an Agent Mailbox thread to inbox, archive or trash. Trash requires expectedSequence from get_inbox_thread; other moves may supply it to reject a concurrent message. All folders preserve messages, attachments, read state and storage usage; moving does not cancel queued sends. Restore by moving to inbox or archive. New incoming mail reopens a retained thread in inbox. Only delete_inbox_thread permanently deletes from trash; there is no automatic expiry. Changes are also visible in the mailbox UI. Requires the client's write policy, without an additional Ridian approval step.

## Permissions

Granted scopes, accounts, calendars and visibility rules limit access. Workspace administrators do not automatically gain access to other users’ accounts.
