## Behavior and boundaries

Reads the status of an Agent Mailbox send returned by send_inbox_draft or send_inbox_message. queued/sending means Ridian is still handing it to the mail provider; accepted means provider acceptance, delivered means a signed delivery receipt, failed means the provider refused it (failureCode names the reason, e.g. http_422:…), unknown means the outcome needs reconciliation and must not be blindly retried. Optional waitSeconds (1–10) waits server-side until the status leaves queued/sending; use it right after sending instead of asking the user to check. Does not send or retry anything.

## Permissions

Granted scopes, accounts, calendars and visibility rules limit access. Workspace administrators do not automatically gain access to other users’ accounts.
